Pray for Rain

I know most of you who read this are already residents of Utah but I would like to just put it out there to pray for rain! This winter in Utah we got hardly any snow. It was wonderful, until now. People are not realizing how dry the earth is right now and there are fires all over the place in Utah. We need to pray for rain so the firefighters and those near the fires can be safe.
You can see the status of the fires here.

When I'm stressed I clean

Lately stress has been kind of high. Lots of things have been going on and the excitement for my mission is starting to dwindle and turn into stress. So what do I do when I'm stressed? CLEAN! Or organize if there is something available for a project. Last week and this week I went a little crazy and rearranged our entire family room and cleaned the entire shower from floor to ceiling it is nice. I think I will continue to find projects. Tomorrow I think I will clean my walls in my bedroom and possibly move my bed. Have I ever said that I alternatively wanted to pursue a degree in interior design instead of library science. I think that would be fun. There are so many different ways that furniture, paint and knickknacks can add or detract from a room. Also it is amazing how a little dust detracts from the shine of a room. I always feel so complete when I am able to clean something and see the true potential an item has. For example, in the picture below, this table in the middle used to have water stains, scratches and a dull shine to it but now it has a lot more even tone and is shiny making it look a lot nicer.

Isn't it so nice?!
